Chuck Jensen, volunteer, was the conductor on the car Northland, which brought the stars to the Duluth Depot.

There were 1500 people outside the building, and  400-500 inside.  Of those inside the building there were  50-60 press people, from the Twin Cities, Duluth, Associated Press, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood and Universal Pictures.

The 50 minutes press conference was fun and there were a lot of jokes and laughter, said Ken Buehler, Director of the Duluth Depot, Lake Superior Railroad Museum, and North Shore Scenic Railroad.  Photo by Jennifer Holznagel

After the press conference concluded, the rest of the visit was spent with Clooney and Zellweger greeting people in the crowd.  They took time to meet everyone that they could.  They were posing for pictures, shaking hands, signing autographs, and you could really tell that they truly enjoyed the people and Duluth.

The Leatherheads Whistle Stop Tour, made its first stop here in Duluth as part of their nationwide publicity tour for the new movie, "Leatherheads" which will be in theaters on April 4th.
